Islamabad, 5 May, 2025: Weather across Pakistan will be partly cloudy over the next 12 hours with localised thunderstorms and windstorms in different areas as per the latest advisory from the national weather authorities.
Unstable Conditions in Multiple Regions
Most areas will have dry and mildly cloudy skies but forecasters have predicted chance of rain with wind and thunder in scattered places.
These include Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, southern and central Punjab, northern Balochistan, upper and southern Sindh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Storms will occur in the afternoon and early evening. In southern Sindh, the weather department has issued a warning for isolated downpours with gusty winds.

Sudden rain with powerful wind gusts may occur in low lying areas and may cause temporary flooding or disruption in movement.
The Pothohar Plateau which includes Rawalpindi and Chakwal may also have isolated showers and thunder activity later in the day.

Peshawar: 21°C
Quetta: 19°C
Gilgit and Murree: 15°C
Muzaffarabad: 17°C
In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather is variable with overcast skies and thunderstorms possible in cities including Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Jammu, Shopian, Baramulla.

However Leh will be dry and partly cloudy today.

Jammu: 23°C
Anantnag and Shopian: 13°C
Leh: 5°C
