Punjab University Admissions 2025: Schedule Released for Phase-I & II

Islamabad, June 19, 2025: Punjab University has officially released the detailed admission schedule for the academic session 2025-26 (Phase-I & II). The schedule includes important dates for entry tests, merit lists, and the commencement of classes, providing a clear roadmap for prospective students aiming to join one of Pakistan’s top educational institutions.

According to the announced schedule, the first admission test advertisement and portal opened on April 27, 2025 (Sunday). The last date to apply for the first test is May 26, 2025 (Monday), and the test will be conducted on June 15, 2025 (Sunday). Results for the first test are expected on June 28, 2025 (Saturday).

The second test advertisement goes live on June 16, 2025 (Monday). Students can apply until July 4, 2025 (Friday), with the test scheduled for July 20, 2025 (Sunday). Results will be announced on July 30, 2025 (Wednesday).

The main admission advertisement is slated for July 3, 2025 (Thursday). Students must submit admission forms by August 5, 2025 (Tuesday), as the portal will close on that date.

Merit lists will be issued in phases:

  • 1st Merit List: August 11 (Monday)
  • 2nd Merit List: August 15 (Friday)
  • 3rd Merit List: August 20 (Wednesday)
  • 4th Merit List: August 25 (Monday)
  • 5th Merit List (If Needed): August 28 (Thursday)

Each list will have a specific deadline for fee deposit, ensuring timely admissions.

Classes will officially begin from September 1, 2025 (Monday), marking the start of the new academic journey for successful applicants. Students are advised to regularly check the university portal for updates and ensure timely submissions to avoid missing out on this opportunity.
