Islamabad, June 24, 2025: Renowned Pakistani filmmaker and actor Yasir Nawaz brother, Waqar Nawaz, passed away today in Karachi.
Yasir announced the heartbreaking news through an Instagram story. In a message filled with sorrow, he wrote, “With deep sorrow, we share that our beloved and caring brother Waqar Nawaz has Passed away.”
He prayed for Waqar’s forgiveness, a high place in paradise, and patience for the grieving family. According to the announcement, the funeral prayer will be offered today, Monday, June 24, 2025, after Zuhr at Rehmania Mosque, Tariq Road, Karachi.
