FIA Offloads 16-Member ‘Beggar Family’ Bound for Saudi Arabia at Multan Airport

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) intervened at Multan International Airport, offloading the family from the flight bound for Saudi Arabia due to allegations of begging.

Reportedly, 16 passengers, including an infant, obtained Umrah visas. Three travel agents had arranged their accommodations and meals in Saudi Arabia, as confirmed by the FIA.

It has come to light that the agent demanded that half of the funds. These funds were actively designated for the family as alms. Consequently, the FIA spokesperson has confirmed filing a case against all family members.

‘Absconders’ Status Assigned To Several PTI Leaders In Jinnah House Attack Case

Meanwhile, in the Jinnah House attack case registered at Sarwar Road Police Station, ATC Judge Abhar Gul has officially labeled PTI leaders as ‘absconders.’

The PTI leaders declared as ‘absconders’ include Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar, Farrukh Habib, Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, Ali Amin Gandapur, Zubair Khan Niazi, Andleeb Abbas, and others.

Furthermore, the anti-terrorism court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the accused.
