WEB DESK: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), in partnership with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), offers a text message service to assist eligible voters in verifying their registration status.

How to check vote by SMS

To access this service, individuals can simply send a text message containing their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) number to vote check code 8300.

Upon sending the message, an automated response will be generated, providing essential details such as the electoral area, block code, and serial number associated with the individual’s registration.

Additionally, registered voters have the option to verify their information by visiting their respective District Election Commissioner’s (DEC) office, where the final electoral roll is accessible.

Moreover, the addresses and contact details of DEC offices located across the four provinces can be found on the Election Commission’s official website, ensuring easy access to this vital information.
